After a slight drop in new cases of COVID-19 under the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area, the civic body saw a total of 198 new cases on June 27.

This also pushed the number of active cases to 1,904. For the last few days, there has been a continuous rise in active cases as more than 150 new cases are reported in the city.

The number of active cases is increasing rapidly per day. So far in June, more than 6000 new cases have been reported. At the beginning of May, the number of active cases was around 50. On June 26, a total of 262 patients got discharged.

At present, 1,523 people are in home isolation and 7 patients are getting treatment at Covid care centre at Cidco Exhibition centre in Vashi.

Last week, two deaths were reported taking the total number of deaths to 2,051 due to COVID-19.

Today, June 28, Telangana Board (TSBIE) released the results for the intermediate first and second-year exams. The official websites tsbie.cgg.gov.in, results.cgg.gov.in, and examresults.ts.nic.in have the TS Inter Result 2022.

Students must enter their roll number and date of birth to check the TS Inter 1st year and TS Inter 2nd year results 2022. To pass the TS inter 1st year and 2nd year exams, students must receive at least a 35 percent grade.

New Delhi: Justice Satish Chandra Sharma on Tuesday took oath as the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court here.

Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena administered the oath to Justice Sharma at a ceremony in the Raj Niwas, the L-G's secretariat.

Justice Sharma had earlier served as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.

The High Court of Delhi was established on 31 October 1966. The High Court of Delhi was established with four judges, including Chief Justice K. S. Hegde, Justice I. D. Dua, Justice H. R. Khanna and Justice S. K. Kapur.

Presently, the High Court has a sanctioned strength of 45 permanent judges and 15 additional judges.

Today, June 28, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will announce the results of the Class 10 Matric examination for the 2022 board exams. More than 1.15 lakh students will receive their HPBOSE 10th grade results in 2022. The official result website, hpbose.org, will host the HPBOSE 10th result for the Himachal Pradesh board in 2022.

The Himachal Pradesh Board held the exams this year in two terms, similar to how CBSE and CISCE do. On February 10, the HPBOSE term 1 results were released. However, the HP 10th result for Term 2 in 2022 won't receive a separate announcement.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Choosing DAVV as its preference, nearly 30,000 students have applied for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), so far.

“According to information received from the National Testing Agency, a total of 29,836 students, so far, have registered for CUET, eyeing 18 programmes offered by DAVV,” said DAVV admission coordinator professor Kanhiya Ahuja.

The 18 courses include all the 17 two-year MBA programmes offered by DAVV. The registration figure will grow further as the last date for applying for CUET is July 4.

A total of 72,213 students had registered for CUET giving preference for after-school courses run by DAVV.

If registrations of both are clubbed, total number of students showing interest in DAVV courses crosses one lakh.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): On the third day of Bramhotsav on Monday, chanting of mantras by students and saints, accompanied by music, was held Shri Lakshmi Venkatesh Devasthan Chhatribagh.

The Maha Abhishek of Lord Venkatesh was done with milk, curd, ghee, sugar, perfume, and saffron.

After two years, a procession was taken out from Devasthan to Chhatribagh in the evening. Special preparations were made for the arrival of the Lord. Devotees decorated the streets and their houses with rangoli and said prayers for the lord.

This celebration is considered one of the biggest rath yatra celebrations.The Rath yatra of Lord Venkatesh will be led out on July 1 in Indore.

Lord Venkatesh, seated on Hanuman Maharaj, came out among the devotees. Girls were dancing, and singer Harikishan Sabu sang hymns.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A team of the Crime Branch on Monday arrested two men who were carrying 30 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 3 lakh.

Officials said they received a tip that two youths were carrying drugs and were bringing it to sell it in the city. Police team kept watch on the A B Road and arrested Amit Soni and Pinku Kumar. On checking them police recovered 30 grams of brown sugar.

During questioning the accused told police that they had procured the drugs from a place outside the city. The police are now trying to find out all those involved in selling drugs on the outskirts of the city.

Sironj (Madhya Pradesh): After the untimely demise of the elder brother of journalist Pramod Sahu, the local journalists, photojournalists and press clubs of the city paid floral tributes at the Patrakar Bhawan on Sunday. The journalists mourn his death with the family of the late Vinod and pray to God to provide strength to the deceased's family members to bear this great sorrow.

On this occasion, Laxman Singh Katiyar, Surendra Singh Raghuvanshi, Rohitashva Sharma, Mohammad Salman Khan, Naseem Gauri, Mohammad Salman Amin, Saeed Khan, Naeem Khan, Ravi Vishwakarma, Pramod Raghuvanshi, Santosh Jain, Abdul Razzaq Khan, Yuvraj Prajapati and Krishna Chandra were present.

After the trial against Topsgrup promoter Rahul Nanda and his family member was separated in a money laundering case as they were found absconding, a special court has directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to take steps to proceed against their co-accused.

The court noted that despite giving direction to the ED and the prosecutor concerned, no effective steps are taken to proceed against the co-accused. It directed that the agency take all steps to proceed in the case. In April, the court had directed that the ED issue a proclamation against them as they were not found at their Andheri residence.

The agency had tried to execute non-bailable warrants against them but did not find them at the known address. The court had then noted that even their advocates are not appearing before it, therefore that there is reason to believe that they have absconded.
