Prime Minister Scott Morrison has no excuse for not being able to name the price of petrol or rapid antigen tests, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. When Mr Clennell asked the Prime Minister at his National Press Club address on Tuesday to name the prices of petrol, rapid antigen tests and a loaf of bread, Mr Morrison was unable to answer. “Scott Morrison himself has said petrol prices will be higher under Labor – so if he can’t even name the petrol price, he’s got a problem,” Mr Clennell told Sky News Australia. “I thought the Prime Minister would be able to answer the question, because it’s a simple question – everyone knows petrol is $1.90 - you drive past it all the time. “Everyone knows rapid antigen tests are between $10 and $20, because we suddenly have to go and get them. “Cost of living will be an issue at this election, and I believe it was a gaffe of Scott Morrison to not be able to answer. “I don’t think he has an excuse on either of these two.”
