Host of The Megyn Kelly Show, Megyn Kelly, has taken aim at the “COVID hawks” and “paranoia” gripping the United States which she says is damaging the early learning years of children. “It’s infuriating, it’s incredibly frustrating – and it’s beyond time that we fought back,” Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray in an exclusive interview. Ms Kelly spoke of the “real and lasting damage” being inflicted on the nation’s children amid the imposition of widespread coronavirus restrictions and teachers refusing to educate. “If we don’t fight now, if we don’t stand up for them now, who are they going to look at other than us when they get older and they realise they missed huge swathes of learning, that they didn’t develop emotionally, correctly, because they had masks over their faces and couldn’t learn the normal cues,” she said. “It’s our fault now, so I don’t care about anybody shaming me, I’m sick and tired of being lectured to by the you want to kill grandma crowd. “It’s baloney, it’s a balancing test and it now weighs in favour of the children getting their normal lives back.”
