Three California children could be in danger after being abducted by their parents, the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff's office issued a statement calling on the public to help find the children after their mother, Karri Dominguez failed to show up to surrender them to Child Protective Services at a pre-arranged time and place as ordered by the court, the sheriff's office said in a statement.

Due to an ongoing “substantial danger to the physical and emotional health” of the children — Christopher, Evangeline, and Angelica Pinon — the parents were ordered by the court to be surrender them, the statement said.

Officials said they think the children are with Dominguez and their father, Michael Pinon, who may be in an area around I-5 and March Lane in the Central Valley city of Stockton.

"Both are wanted for parental abduction, child endangerment, and violation of a court order," the sheriff said.

The sheriff's office said an Amber Alert is pending because it doesn't have vehicle information.

The sheriff issued photos of all family members and asked the public to keep an eye out for them. The mother is 35 years old, stands 5-feet, seven-inches tall and has brown eyes and hair. The 48-year-old father is 5 feet, 11 inches and has black hair and brown eyes.

Christoper, age 8, is 4 feet, 11 inches and weighs 90 pounds; Evangeline, age 11, is about the same height and weight as her younger brother; and Angelica, 16, is 5 feet, 6 inches and 125 pounds.

If you know where the family is the sheriff asks that you call (209) 946-0600.
