Disclose names of my group MLAs in touch with you: Eknath Shinde to Shiv Sena

Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde on Tuesday said he will soon return to Mumbai, and rubbished Shiv Sena's claim that as many as 20 MLAs of his group are in touch with the Uddhav Thackeray-led party.

Talking to reporters outside the luxury hotel where he and his group of MLAs are lodged since last week, Shinde also said he has support of 50 MLAs.

Minister Uday Samant explains the reason he joined rebel camp

Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant posted a self-recorded video explaining the reason for joining the rebel camp. He said, "I have come to Guwahati as I am fed up with the conspiracy of the allies to weaken the Shiv Sena party for the last few days."

"By rejecting Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati's candidature in the Rajya Sabha elections, the party decided to send a true Shiv Sainik to the Rajya Sabha, but the allies tried to prevent him from getting elected in that election as well," he added.

While speaking to the media outside Guwahati's Radisson Blu Hotel, Shinde denied forming a party as they are real Shiv Sainiks. He also took a dig at Aaditya Thackeray after he said that over 15-20 rebel MLAs are in touch with them.

Shinde said, "All these people are very happy. The information coming from outside that a number of people are in touch with us- they should tell us the names. Then everyone will be clear. They are giving false information about our MLAs being in touch with them, let them take the names, they are just spreading rumours. 50 people are here on their own. Kesarkar will give you updates about our stand."

He also told the reporters that they will stick with Balasaheb Thackeray's Hindutva ideology and they will take it forward.
