Mumbai: Don Bosco, Matunga stamped their authority registering a thumping 4-0 win against arch-rivals St. Stanislaus, Bandra in an Inter-Schools Boys’ under-14 final of the St. Peter’s Youth Centre organised St. Peter’s Hockey Tournament 2022 and played at the St. Stanislaus HS ground, Bandra.
The star of Don Bosco’s win was Suhaan Pawale who scored two goals, while Rishi Jathana and Shantanu Mhatre added one each to complete their fluent win against the Bandra schoolboys.
Later in the Veteran Men’s final, formidable Mumbai Raje as expected emerged champions defeating Sea View SC 5-1 with Meghraj Murthy slamming a hat-trick of goals, while Olympian Gavin Ferreira and Newman D’Souza struck a goal each to seal Mumbai Raje’s triumph.
