Samsung has announced the launch date of Galaxy M33 5G in India to be April 02, 2022. It will be retailing through Amazon and there’s a new ‘Notify Me’ microsite on the site, which reveals the key specs of the phone. Samsung India has teased the device will feature an unnamed 5nm octa-core processor, up to 8GB RAM, 16GB Virtual RAM, 128GB storage, a 6.6-inch 120Hz screen, and a 6000mAh battery with 25W charging support. However, there will be no charger in the box to “minimize the environmental impact”.
Samsung has also listed the Galaxy M33 5G specifications on its SamsungMobilePress website. Let’s have a look at those details.

Samsung is using an unnamed 5nm APU coupled with 6/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. There will be support for up to 16GB RAM+ VRAM feature and up to 1TB micro-SD card expansion.
The internals will also consist of a 5G modem, and a 6000mAh battery. The latter supports 25W fast charging but won’t be coming with an adapter in the box. Samsung says this has been done for its effort in minimizing environmental impact.
On the surface, there is a 6.6-inch TFT LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. There is an Infinity-V cutout that houses an 8MP camera. The back cameras, meanwhile, include a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro module.
Other things in the mix are an Intelligent Voice Focus for clearer call reception, Android 12 with One UI 4.1, and a fingerprint scanner.

Then, a few days later on April 02, 2022, India will get the Galaxy M33 5G. There’s no word on the official launch of Galaxy M53 5G in our country. As for pricing, we had already shared that the M33 5G may cost €349 (~₹29,390) for the 6+128GB variant in Europe. Now, how much it would be charged for here is yet to be seen.
