ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he will come back stronger whatever may the result be after the voting on the no-trust move against him, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Following the political developments in the country, PM Imran Khan addressed the nation on the no-confidence motion and the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting on the threat letter to the federal government.

PM Imran Khan said that it is a decisive moment for Pakistan to choose the right path.

PM Khan said, “When I played cricket for 20 years, the world and those who played cricket with me saw that I play till the last ball.”

“I’ve never accepted defeat in life. Nobody should think that I will sit at home. I’ll come back stronger, whatever may the result be,” announced the premier.

“A foreign nation sent a message to them (Pakistan) that Imran Khan needs to be removed else Pakistan will suffer consequences.”

“Our history has examples of Mir Jaffar and Mir Sadiq who conspired with foreign forces to bring their leaders down, you will be remembered as one of them,” Imran Khan gave a message to the turncoats.

He said that nobody knew other politicians unless they joined the politics. He said that he is the luckiest man who got every blessing from Allah Almighty.

He said that self-worth is the symbol of an independent nation and Pakistan was created to become an independent and welfare state on the principles of Madinah.

War on terror

PM Imran Khan said that Pakistanis had been given a humiliating response for taking part in the US-led war on terror.

“I have always adopted the stance neither to bow down before anyone nor let my nation accept slavery. After coming into power, I have decided to make an independent foreign policy. An independent policy should not be meant  against any country.”

“I have never said to be anti-America or anti-India. I’m not against any country but the policies of some countries.” He added that Pakistan has nothing to do with the war against terrorism as no Pakistani was involved in 9/11.

He criticised Pervez Musharraf had taken the wrong decision to become a coalition partner of the United States (US). The premier said that after the fall of the Soviet Union, sanctions had been imposed on Pakistan after the departure of the US before its return to Pakistan post-9/11.

He said that tribal areas saw horrific destruction and 80,000 lives were lost in the war on terror. The premier said that drone strikes had also brought destruction to the tribal areas of Pakistan and even 80 seminary students were martyred in Bajaur drone attack.

“I had been called Taliban Khan for condemning the drone strikes. Not a single politician supported me to register protests against the drone strikes just to appease America.”

“I’d talked against India after it changed the special status of Kashmir. However, I’d tried my best to normalise ties with India before the change of Kashmir status.”

‘Threat letter’

PM Khan said that the government had received a message from a foreign country on March 7 just before the tabling of a no-trust move against him. The foreign country’s threatening message was not only against the premier but also for the nation.

“It was told that Pakistan will be pardoned if the no-trust move will be succeeded against Imran Khan, otherwise, severe consequences will be witnessed. All these things are brought on record as the minutes of the meeting. It was not a verbal threat but an official document.”

The premier said that the memo has exposed the foreign connections with the recent political developments in the country. PM Khan said that he was blamed for solely deciding to visit Russia.

Imran Khan clarified that he had visited Russia after holding consultations. He continued, “Pakistan is treated like a servant by criticising us for my visit to Russia.”

The premier said that ‘three stooges’ are a special kind of slaves who had been facing cases for committing billions of corruption but their cases were ended by Pervez Musharraf.

PM Khan said that the three stooges have been selected by some foreign countries who had never condemned hundreds of drone strikes in Pakistan nor they are concerned about the killings of innocent people in Afghanistan.

He said that WikiLeaks had revealed the conversation of Fazlur Rehman with the then US ambassador, whereas, Nawaz Sharif had held secret meetings with Narendra Modi which was exposed by an Indian journalist.

“Shehbaz Sharif had said that Imran Khan made mistake by saying absolutely note. I had told them that Pakistan is a partner of peace but not the war.”

Independent foreign policy

The premier urged to adopt an independent foreign policy as a nation, otherwise, the country will not earn a respect globally.

Responding to the opposition’s allegations, PM Khan said that they thought the threatening letter was fake and a lie. He said that they did not see its reality in the National Security Committee (NSC) session today.

The threat letter had been presented before the federal cabinet and the military leadership.

No-trust move

PM Khan said that it is a decisive phase for the country on Sunday as the voting will be held on the no-confidence motion against him.

He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had collected record successes in just 3.5 years which the past rulers failed to achieve in their 30 years.

The premier said that he is known for fighting till the last ball and will never accept defeat.

“We will see those who sell their consciences to vote on the no-trust move.

He warned that the nationals will never forget the opposition and their handlers as they are trying to topple a government with an independent foreign policy.

“I’ve never accepted defeat in life. Nobody should think that I will sit at home. I’ll come back stronger, whatever may the result be. I will never let this conspiracy to be succeeded.” announced the premier.
